Our young midwives Lucia and Besara have launched a humanitarian project in Tabaka, a village in the heart of Kenya where Intermed ETS opened an ozone therapy clinic in 2023.

A message from Lucia and Besara:
"Unfortunately, at Tabaka Mission Hospital, because of the large number of mothers who choose to give birth in our hospital and the layout of the current delivery room, it is often impossible to guarantee privacy for mothers and their newborns.
Our ambition is to build two efficient, fully equipped delivery rooms to replace the single room we have now, where two delivery beds stand with no partition between them. We want to give mothers the chance to go through labour and birth in a calm and respectful atmosphere, with proper privacy and the best possible care."
