Intermed ETS took part in the 2023 Peace Festival with two events in November.

Photographer Giulio Tonincelli presented photographs and a documentary made in Igbedor (Nigeria), where Intermed has long worked with Sister Enza Guccione of Emmanuel Family to support the island's community. Tonincelli's documentary (see gallery) tells of the ongoing challenges of this almost unreachable place, where Sister Enza has built a school and a health centre for local patients.

In the same week, Intermed invited Princess Soraya Malek, an Afghan exile and human rights activist, to an interview with journalist Anna Della Moretta of the Giornale di Brescia.
