The course on zoonoses and meat hygiene in Uganda has been completed, thanks to Dr Manuela Fazia, veterinarian at ATS Brescia, and Tatiana Pedrazzi, pharmacologist and researcher, Intermed ETS Brescia.
The course on diseases transmitted from animals to humans, with a focus on hygiene in handling slaughtered meat, was attended by a great many people working in the sector, who came from rural areas of Uganda.
